A renovated village house in the centre of Algaida with nine rooms, a courtyard and a garden full of orange trees around the pool.

PetitHotel Tour
The rather different cycling tour: four petit hotels right across the island, six stages, and your luggage already waiting in the next house. Riding with luggage can be this comfortable.
The tour
PetitHotel Tour
We went hunting again for new routes and new houses. We found them at the Mallorcan petit hotel group Can Calco: small houses with character in Felanitx, Algaida, Moscari and Alcúdia. Out of those we built the PetitHotel Tour, the ideal companion to our sternfahrten for anyone who would rather be on the move than in the same place every evening.
On the PetitHotel Tour you change house every second day without having to think about your luggage, because we carry it from petit hotel to petit hotel. Riding with luggage can be this comfortable. Every morning you wake up, have breakfast, get on the bike, and the case is already in the next room.
What your week looks like
You arrive on Friday, and the first night you sleep right at the top: in the former Sant Salvador monastery at 510 metres above Felanitx, with a sea view from every room and dinner in the house, which is part of the package. On Saturday you roll down and on through Porreres and Montuïri, where the pa amb oli is waiting, to Algaida. From there on Sunday out to the beach at Es Trenc and back, with a wine tasting in the evening if you like.
On Monday you move on through the vineyards to Moscari at the foot of the Tramuntana, on Tuesday you ride a loop through the centre of the island by way of Sineu, and on Wednesday along the Camí Vell to Pollença, into the Cala Sant Vicenç and on to Alcúdia. The last day is a beach day, or Formentor, or the monastery at Lluc. You choose. On Friday we take you to the airport.
You should not have to go without
Of course you get the service you know from us: maps, GPX, arrows on the signs, bikes set up for you and our number for seven days. Anyone who wants a day off rides along with the luggage in the van. The stay and the order of the houses can vary with availability, and we tell you that when you book.
Ride well, your Radundfinca team

Your route day by day
Six stages, and each morning you decide how far you go today.
Friday, arrival day. We bring you from the airport up onto the Puig de Sant Salvador, 510 metres above Felanitx, where you sleep your first night in the former monastery. Every room looks out to sea, and the sunset over the Pla comes free.
In the afternoon we set the bikes up and go through the week with you, and in the evening there is dinner in the house restaurant, which is part of the package. From tomorrow we look after your luggage and you look after the riding.
- Sea view from every room
- Dinner in the monastery restaurant included
- Bikes set up in person

Today you set off with a fine, fast descent from Sant Salvador, after enjoying the view over half of Mallorca at breakfast. It is not far to Felanitx, and quiet side roads take you on to Porreres. There you can linger a while and watch village life until your bikes call you again and you carry on to Montuïri.
Fortified by the most typical of all Mallorcan meals, the pa amb oli, you take the last kilometres easily and arrive in good spirits at the Petit Hotel Algaida, where your luggage is already waiting. Riding with luggage can be this comfortable.
- A fast descent from the monastery after breakfast
- Pa amb oli in Montuïri, included in the price
- Your luggage is already waiting in Algaida

Do not forget your swimming things on today’s ride, because it takes you from Algaida through Llucmajor to Sa Ràpita on the beach at Es Trenc. One of the finest beaches on Mallorca, if not the finest, with a Caribbean air and no hotel behind it. You have to have seen it.
After a good long spell on the beach you ride on to Campos and then, by way of a splendid descent, to Porreres and back to Algaida. The longest stage of the week, but flat, and tonight the luggage stays where it is. Fancy a wine tasting? We have arranged everything. Cheers!
- The beach at Es Trenc, with a Caribbean air
- A splendid descent to Porreres
- Wine tasting in the evening, all arranged. Cheers!

Cases ready, we will take them along! Today you change region: from the granary in the south to the foot of the Tramuntana. Through Santa Eugènia and Consell the route leads you among the vineyards around Binissalem, where the harvest comes in autumn and the tasting goes on all year.
You will love it: the sleepy Tramuntana village of Biniamar is waiting with its well-kept square and opens the way through Selva to Moscari, where your next petit hotel, Can Riera, greets you with a thoroughly relaxed air. Let yourselves be looked after. Forty kilometres, the shortest stage of the week, so the afternoon belongs to the pool.
- The vineyards around Consell and Binissalem
- Biniamar, a sleepy Tramuntana village
- Can Riera in Moscari, and the luggage is already there

Today’s riding day heads into the centre of the island. On the bike you discover the original Mallorca with its wide fields and plains. In Costitx, Lloret, Llubí and Búger time seems to have stopped; everything feels sleepy and yet familiar. In Sineu a stop at a celler is worth it, and if you are here on a Wednesday the oldest market on the island is right in front of your wheel.
If you are after a sporting challenge, today is your day: the Puig de Santa Magdalena is calling, 510 metres at six per cent. Psst, you can also ride around it. Back in Moscari you enjoy the rest of your stay; today the luggage has not moved.
- The island’s centre, where time seems to have stopped
- Sineu with its cellers, market on Wednesdays
- Puig de Santa Magdalena, psst, you can also ride around it

And on we go, cases ready and up on the bike! A classic is waiting for you, the Camí Vell de Pollença below the Tramuntana, a must for anyone who rides on Mallorca. On a stop in Pollença you will find the 365 steps up to the Calvari and the old Roman bridge, the Pont Romà. Swimming things on board?
Our stage carries on into the Cala Sant Vicenç, where beautiful coves with crystal-clear water are waiting. Getting wet is compulsory here! One last stop in Pollença and you reach Alcúdia with its petit hotel in the historic old quarter. Or would you rather add the Ermita de la Victòria? You decide.
- The Camí Vell de Pollença below the Tramuntana
- The 365 steps to the Calvari and the Roman bridge Pont Romà
- Cala Sant Vicenç: getting wet is compulsory here!

Today everything points to relaxing. The route takes you to various beaches in the north of Mallorca, and which one you pick is up to you: Platja s’Illot, Cala Formentor, Cala Carbó, or somewhere a little livelier at the Platja de Muro. Or perhaps our insider tip, Sa Canova at Son Serra? Difficult? We will gladly help you decide.
No relaxing today? Then off to the Cap de Formentor, the challenge par excellence, or to the Lluc monastery in the Tramuntana; we will show you the way. And at the end of the day your petit hotel in the old quarter is always waiting, with your luggage already there.
- Today everything points to relaxing
- Cap de Formentor for anyone who still wants more
- Our insider tip: Sa Canova at Son Serra

Friday. One last breakfast in the old quarter, then we collect the bikes and you and take you to the airport. Six stages, four houses, and you have not carried a single case. Ride well, your Radundfinca team.
- Transfer to the airport included in the package, if you want it

Frequently asked
What guests ask us beforehand
You leave your case at reception in the morning before setting off, we pick it up during the morning, and when you arrive at the next house in the afternoon it is in the room. One case or travel bag per person, no weight limit, we are not an airline. Valuables and medication please carry with you in the pannier.
A little, which is why it says moderate rather than easy. The stages are 40 to 70 kilometres, 70 on one day, and you change house three times. In return you carry nothing, the landscape changes every day, and the shortest stage is 40 kilometres with a pool at the end. On an e-bike it is a relaxed week.
You only ride alone if you want to. Our tours are unguided: you set your own pace and your own breaks, and there is no group to keep up with. In our experience a small group forms on the first evening and heads off together. You do not have to find anything: you get maps, GPX files for your phone or GPS and our arrows on the road signs. And if something does come up, we are on the phone.
If you ride 40 kilometres along a flat route at home on a weekend, you are fit enough. The stages are 40 to 70 kilometres, easy to moderate, with plenty of stops in places where stopping is a pleasure. There are no big climbs, and the ones that get in the way can be ridden around. On an e-bike it is more relaxed still.
Then you take it off. On a sternfahrt you sleep in the same house every night, so the day is simply free: pool, market, train to Palma. On the PetitHotel Tour we will take you on to the next house with the luggage if you like. And if your legs give up out on the road, our biketaxi comes for you: your location on WhatsApp is enough.
Yes, outside built-up areas a helmet is compulsory in Spain, and inside them it is recommended. We give you a loaner helmet free of charge, though your own usually fits better. Safety first.
